Please write to the debian-boot list and describe the problems you've had, they love install reports :-)
When I tried the Beta 2 a week or two ago, I tried (as per the instructions on the debian-installer website) to file a bug report.
Fill out template (http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/report-template) ---- check.
Send completed form to [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---- check.
Apparently the bug tracking system has a few bugs as well, however. It bounced my message back to me saying that I had not specified a package.
