Hmm.
Configured kpilot to look directly at /dev/ttyUSB1
09:45:43 Pilot device /dev/ttyUSB1 doesn't exist. Assuming the device uses DevFS.

So - I press the hotsync button (palm) which loads the module, creates
the device, then the hotsync button (kpilot):
09:46:21 Device link ready.
09:46:23 HotSyncing. Please press the HotSync button.
So - the device link ready is new, but it gets no further.
