Can you comment on the report of Brother laser printers running out of
toner much earlier than they should?
I've got a brother laser and I'd heard of this issue, but you can
disable the 'out of toner' thing so that it keeps printing. IIUC, if you
don't disable it before it happens then you can't disable it later and
will have to replace the cartridge.
It prints hundreds of pages after the low-toner warning.
