Hi, I mount my home directory manually every-time ... And then do a startx
But when I try to use Sysrq+u I do get a message sysrq: Emergency Remount R/O Emergency Remount complete But my home directory is still writable. I already have a read-only rootfs. Since I do mount my home directory manually (btrfs), I dont add the entry in fstab. Is entry in fstab really necessary? Or does the kernel take into consideration all the file systems currently mounted ? I have a few other ext4 file systems which too dont get remounted as RO. Can someone explain me how to get the SysRq+u to remount all my FS into RO mode please ? thanks
