FWIW, I bought a System76 desktop (tower) system a couple months ago. Ubuntu and Pop_OS (System76's Ubuntu derivative) are supported. I installed Debian stable on it, and it seems to work fine, except for the wireless card, which isn't recognized, even with packages from backports. (I wrote "seems to" because I've only done limited testing and haven't yet put the system into production.) If Lina wants Debian specifically, System76 has a 30-day window in which you can install Debian and then return the system if there's something you can't get to work. I assume that 30-day offer also applies to laptops and non-US customers, but it would be wise to check. Their support team is quite friendly. For me, wireless support in a tower system is a nice-to-have, not a requirement, so I kept the system. mike
