I've always called evince from an xterm without any problem. evince <file.pdf>. Anyway, I'm very happy with Bookworm here, having wiped my previous installation (Stretch) and started anew. Everything works perfectly with 8mg of RAM, a Radeon graphics card, an ethernet thingmajig (all to boost this old workhorse into 21st century free the CPU for other chores), and the LXDE desktop. Kudos to the team. In fact, I rarely have a question because everything always works. I must harder to break something, I guess. > Cheers, > David. > >
