This maybe why your web browser does not know about local domain names.

I had to disable this feature to get systems to discover my local web based servers. It would be nice if this feature would also allow you to define specific exceptions for local web servers/services.

Ah, in Vivaldi settings there is the option, google services "DNS to help resolve navigation errors"
Maybe that is where the gstatic.com came from.
