Also see <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gimli_Glider>. The plane took
off with too little fuel due to a conversion error. The error was
introduced using a value converted from pounds/litre instead of
kilograms/litre.

I also seem to recall Airbus had a problem with engine wiring
harnesses due to conversions and rounding errors, but I can't find a
reference.
