I did exactly this a couple weeks ago and registered a wiki account. To do the latter, the procedure involved writing an additional email to avoid spammer accounts. It worked within reasonable time - only a few hours or even faster. The questionable confusion was solved within the Debian community on list and I transfered the solution to the wiki. No one complained, no one attacked me for improving. There is no need to spread urban legends invoking conspiracy implicitely. There is no board of shadow Debian elders deciding in the dark who is to be attacked. Please stay with the facts, at least until the alternative facts' president is inaugurated. -- kind regards Frank
