In my case, I decided a long time ago to avoid all the MOK signing stuff. Nowadays, I turn off secure boot for machines that need (1) nvidia drivers for TensorFlow; or (2) run Virtual Box. I have one machine left for testing TensorFlow, and one machine left running Virtual Box. And VBox will be going away as soon as I get the time to install KVM/QEMU/libvirt and convert the VMs.like it. So you might be able to keep Debian if you really want it. Jeff
