At first glance * Item {{{ code }}} results in proper HTML structure while <https://wiki.debian.org/EnvironmentVariables#Desktop_Environments_and_systemd_user_services> with * Item . {{{ code }}} renders the code as a separate <li> element. Unfortunately it is not covered in <https://wiki.debian.org/HelpOnLists>. I assume you were not trying to create <https://wiki.debian.org/DebianWiki/EditorGuide#FAQ_sections> FAQ sections.
