You're using an AMD graphics card, right? If not, skip the following: I had issues with FF stability some months back that appeared out of nowhere. The issues however, resolved themselves once I had upgraded to the latest non-free AMD video driver. Make sure you have the firmware-amd-graphics package installed and have non-free-firmware in your sources.list: # cat /etc/apt/sources.list ... deb https://deb.debian.org/debian/ your_dist_here main non-free-firmware ...
