Felix,

I do now understand why you posted the above?

I do not use inix, so I am not familiar with the program.

Maybe the below list of what is installed in the various Debian
Bookworm installations I tested on, might help you to explain why
Wayland did not score well?

In practical usage, that is when playing games, both XFCE and KDE
systems seem to be the same performance.

Debian Bookworm KDE:

$ apt list --installed | grep glmark2
glmark2-data/stable,stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 all
[installed,automatic]
glmark2-wayland/stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 amd64 [installed]

 Debian Bookworm XFCE:

$ apt list --installed | grep glmark
glmark2-data/stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 all [installed,automatic]
glmark2-x11/stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 amd64 [installed]

Debian Bookworm Cinnamon:

# apt list --installed | grep glmark2
glmark2-data/stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 all [installed,automatic]
glmark2-x11/stable,now 2023.01+dfsg-1 amd64 [installed]
