I'm not certain. To be honest my prior *nix experiance is as a user,
not admin.
I think the output from lsmod I posted in my other reply sugest not?

It's possible for them to be built into the kernel too. Try 'cat /proc/bus/usb/devices,' and post the results here.

The mouse is now sorted, so I don't think I need post this. Still having other problems though. See my last post.
