NetworkManager reliably ignores all interfaces that have an entry in /etc/network/interfaces. If I setup my laptop as AP I have an entry for it in /etc/network/interfaces, but let the NetworkManager handle the wired network. I don't know how well systemd-networkd cooperates with /etc/network/interfaces. Detlef
