I didn't mean that it won't work. The attribution format is designed for the benefit of recipients. The date_format is designed to be available for constructing strings like indexes and folder lists for the user, as well as external-facing uses. You might want to add text like "where clocks are" to the top of a message, but it would be tedious to have a column of where clocks are where clocks are where clocks are where clocks are in an index.
