Yes, Andy, you are correct. See: https://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases#Production_Releases But i cannot endorse on bookworm without finding alternatives viable to my handicap. Does that mean, i am back to square one? Currently, i am 6 years behind (still on debian 10), because i was not willing to lose functionality i am used to. BTW: the GNOME team did that to me repeatedly, which makes me quite unhappy. But i am not familiar with the other desktops, cannot estimate the difficulties associated with their usage. DdB
