We didn't meet any lack of understanding. Rather, the problem is which rooms do you connect, and precisely where do you place the wallplates. In a domestic environment, you're not going to have trunking like in an office, and you don't want trailing cables. I don't think it's worth it for speculative housebuilders in the days of wifi.
