If the fields are technically a form, evince can fill them out.
I had it "annotate" my name on the appropriate page, left an icon there,
then printed that page as a test, printout was blank. No help from the
help button. Have we something that actually works?
If not, you can use Libreoffice, but format might break.
That, sent to writer, redirected the pdf to draw and refused to go to
the next pages. Tried it twice, got draw twice, did find the correct
page, under a navigate pulldown but while it did take clicks like it was
marking some, the location marked was half a page from the click
location. I quite w/o saving.
