Folks: the OP might be a bit of a challenge to some of us (I don't think they are bad intentioned; that's irrelevant here). But all of you jumping at the occasion of such a thread and amplificating things don't make things better, that's for sure. Not to talk about those clamouring for some punishment (are we in the Middle ages or what?). You have already observed that the OP wants to have their last word. Let 'em (sometimes) have it and let this useless thread *die* already. Sometimes it's just better to shut up. Even if one thinks to be 100% right [1].
