Great! Continue talking to them. Find out if this is an armel, armhf, or arm64 machine. All three are nominally supported by Debian, but booting is going to be fun (i.e. hard) in most cases. https://www.debian.org/releases/stable/ will give you a guide to read once you know the architecture. Once you've got a kernel booting, you can build an installation with debootstrap -- you'll want to build it on a different machine, then copy the image over to whatever media the hardware can use. If I remember correctly, the Nexus 10 had a bunch of cases of bad storage with very limited write lifetime. They are all 11 years old now, so be prepared for that, too. -dsr-
