Yes, my fault for not looking more carefully. I may well have poked around anacron in the meantime. So I checked on another machine and realised I'd overlooked the two that are used: exim4 and hddtemp (run automagically, not by me). I hadn't heard of hddtemp, but inxi pulls it in. Cheers, David.
