Neutrons, not neutrinos.  The latter rarely interact with matter at
all.  A neutron source is fairly difficult to make.

Some will.  Attenuation of such radiation is proportional to thickness
and the level at the surface of the button, while too low to be
dangerous, is much higher than background.
