It died before it turned 5 on a 3 year warranty. It had DP input and DP output, and worked daisy-chaining just fine in every Linux I connected it to. I think MST is how some docking stations work. I have an MST adapter on order from eBay now. AFAIK, DP to HDMI adapters only work in one direction (e.g. both of mine), DP on the PC/GPU, HDMI on the display. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
