Userland is an open source app for running Linux on an Android device. It's in the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.ula&hl=en_US&gl=PL It's conceivable that Debian on Userland on Android might not function quite in the manner to which we are accustomed. Then again, who knows?
