My understanding so far is: HP 600 Deskjet, No physical buttons on the printer to print a test page, Windows can print a test page through the Deskjet Utilities. Questions: have you ever printed anything on this printer using any version of linux, Debian or otherwise? Which type of printer cable do you connect it with? Approximately how old is the printer?
