Has this ever worked before, or is this a new setup? Possibilities: 1. one of your HDMI ports doesn't support sound. Try the other one. 2. your sound is flowing out the wrong port; use alsa, pulseaudio or pipejack tools as appropriate to select the right port. 3. something is muted or set to very low volume. Unmute, raise volumes. 4. something is actually wrong in hardware Give us more information. -dsr-
