Why? Unix system administration changes very slowly. Most of the core concepts haven't changed much since the early 1980s. The only things that you need *urgently* are the steps to fix any problems you're having *now*, or to add support/features that you are missing *now*. If you'd tell us what those issues are, we could advise. On a brand new Debian installation, especially on a laptop, the most common issues are firmware & drivers for wireless networking, video chipsets, and sometimes ethernet. If you're having issues with wireless networking not working, or your desktop environment failing to load properly, or anything similar, it's probably in this ballpark. If on the other hand all you want to know are common maintenance tasks for a Debian system, any recently published version of the Debian Handbook should be just fine. The basics haven't changed much since systemd was introduced as the default init system, back in Debian 8.
