Why?  Unix system administration changes very slowly.  Most of the
core concepts haven't changed much since the early 1980s.

The only things that you need *urgently* are the steps to fix any
problems you're having *now*, or to add support/features that you
are missing *now*.  If you'd tell us what those issues are, we could
advise.

On a brand new Debian installation, especially on a laptop, the most
common issues are firmware & drivers for wireless networking, video
chipsets, and sometimes ethernet.  If you're having issues with
wireless networking not working, or your desktop environment failing
to load properly, or anything similar, it's probably in this ballpark.

If on the other hand all you want to know are common maintenance tasks
for a Debian system, any recently published version of the Debian Handbook
should be just fine.  The basics haven't changed much since systemd was
introduced as the default init system, back in Debian 8.
