Hi all, Anyone using the freeswan 2.01 from backports.org? I have: deb http://www.backports.org/debian stable freeswan deb-src http://www.backports.org/debian stable freeswan at the top of my sources.list.
However, upon make-kpkg... make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-patches/all/freeswan' * /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Configure.help already fully patched * /usr/src/linux/net/Config.in already fully patched * applying linux/net/Makefile.fs2_4.patch to * /usr/src/linux/net/Makefile... patching file net/Makefile Hunk #1 succeeded at 17 with fuzz 1. * /usr/src/linux/net/ipv4/af_inet.c already fully patched * /usr/src/linux/net/Makefile old patches must be undone, undoing * them... * applying linux/net/Makefile.fs2_4.ipsec_alg.patch to * /usr/src/linux/net/Makefile... patching file Makefile Hunk #1 FAILED at 8. Anyone know anything about this? I've tried against 2.4.18 and 2.4.23 (also backports.org), and I really need this version. Alternatively, if someone can guide me to a guide on interpreting patch files, I can have a go at patching the patch. In fact, here it is - it's very short: mailhost:/usr/src/kernel-patches/all/freeswan/linux/net# cat Makefile.fs2_4.ipsec_alg.patch --- net/Makefile.dist Mon Dec 17 12:18:26 2001 +++ net/Makefile Tue Jan 22 11:10:24 2002 @@ -8,6 +8,7 @@ O_TARGET := network.o mod-subdirs := ipv4/netfilter ipv6/netfilter ipx irda bluetooth atm netlink sched +mod-subdirs += ipsec export-objs := netsyms.o subdir-y := core ethernet A PS Rene, sorry for cluttering up your mailbox, but I need to resolve this quickly, and you could well have some insight. -- Please don't CC me.
