So, this mirror is broken? Then use a different mirror. Unless there's a need to use a very specific mirror, it's recommended to use the deb.debian.org infrastructure. For jessie, according to the wiki, the last known good sources.list entries are: deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ jessie main deb http://security.debian.org/ jessie/updates main
