Anybody can phrase things badly: anybody can get things wrong at times: everybody can be wrong at times or just be badly informed. If all else fails: when you read something that punches your buttons, stop, wait 15 minutes, draft a politer reply - or set that thing aside and just ignore it or the person who wrote it wihout escalating it.
