dpkg -L is very helpful in such cases.

It depends...

The executable might be only used internally, it has a generic name that 
is likely to conflict with other completely unrelated software, etc.

The changelog for dropbear only mentions it is installed in 
/usr/lib/dropbear, without a reason.

Anyway, according to the changelog it was moved to /usr/bin in more 
recent versions.
