So I have an install of Ikiwiki limping along. I know ikiwiki is
a bear of a package to maintain, since it depends at least half
of all known perl modules. To get where I am tonight I had to go
out and apt-get libcgi-session-perl and libcgi-formbuilder-perl.
I suspect the deficiencies I'm seeing now are more products of
some fuzziness in this machine's network (firefox?) performance
than in ikiwiki per se, which has run quite solidly and for some
time on a BSD machine I have, whose OS shall go unnamed if I
may..
I don't like publishing to the web out of a Userdir-based
install. Don't like all those ~bob's around. I may rework this
to run out of good old /var/www/html, and see if things improve.
Thank you Mr. Doe.
