gimp1.3 is in unstable.  Just add it to your sources.

for exemple : apt-get install gimp1.3 -t unstable
so all dependencies od gimp1.3 will be taken from unstable.
If you want only the package from unstable, you can do 
apt-get install gimp1.3/unstable
