Hello, After "apt-get install nscd", nscd installs and says it's starting but it is not in process list. The nscd.conf file is not modified. "/etc/init.d/nscd start" says nscd is starting but again not in process list. I am using pam_ldap and libnss_ldap with nsswitch looking like this: passwd: ldap group: ldap shadow: ldap
hosts: files dns networks: files protocols: db files services: db files ethers: db files rpc: db files netgroup: nis Log output is null even after setting debug-level to 10.
