I actually wrote up a (much longer and more detailed) suggestion of vbindiff in response to your original post, but decided not to send it, because vbindiff misses at least two of the points from your original list of criteria and I wasn't (and still am not) in the mood to be snapped at condescendingly for ignoring provided specs.
