Hi all, I have a motherboard with integrated network card Intel I219-V
This is the information from lspci: 00:1f.6 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (2) I219-V but I can see a strange message (only one on every system restart). This is the output of dmesg: [ 4.873221] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): enp0s31f6: link is not ready [ 7.699434] e1000e: enp0s31f6 NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: Rx/Tx [ 7.699478] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): enp0s31f6: link becomes ready [ 10.237498] e1000e 0000:00:1f.6 enp0s31f6: Detected Hardware Unit Hang: TDH <0> TDT <1> next_to_use <1> next_to_clean <0> buffer_info[next_to_clean]: time_stamp <fffee268> next_to_watch <0> jiffies <fffee4c0> next_to_watch.status <0> MAC Status <40080080> PHY Status <7949> PHY 1000BASE-T Status <0> PHY Extended Status <3000> PCI Status <10> [ 10.633255] usb 1-13: reset high-speed USB device number 4 using xhci_hcd [ 11.463454] e1000e: enp0s31f6 NIC Link is Up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: Rx/Tx I have not noticed any network problem but I'm curious why this message appears in the kernel log. I use Debian 10 (buster). Kind regards Georgi
