So clearly I struck a nerve, and I apologize. The way you asked your question was somewhat unclear to me at first. It is clear now. I do not know the entire list of software that is found on the different DVDs, but you can find out by looking on the official DVD lists. Each DVD has a corresponding .list.gz you can browse, all the way up to DVD 14. https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/release/current/i386/list-dvd/ At a cursory glance, it does NOT appear that DVD-1 contains any VM Host software, other than perhaps nspawn (which is part of Systemd).
