If everything else fails - try reading the documentation - [1]: What are the system requirements IOT execute Xdialog ? They are very minimal (no exotic/silly library needed): X11 and GTK+ (v1.2.0 or upper, v1.2.8 and upper preferred) is all what Xdialog needs to run.
