On the other hand, that means you can enjoy the full power of the software on your computer instead of being stuck with a mediocre proprietary embedded player. FFmpeg will respect the ASS style, can use colors, do transparency effects, shadows, etc. Encoding in vobsub results in very limited possibilities. Regards, -- Nicolas George
