You are right, they are, but it's not alpine mail's fault. It's because I am replying through the list archive link through the browser, with a hacked script to try and rewrite the header, and I haven't fully figured it out yet. alpine won't use the entire mailto: in-reply-to, or subj: link when called. It only takes an address when started this way. alpine works fine when subscribed and answering through it, and adds the references correctly, but I prefer to use the web for now to read the list.
