Bugs filed against X, bash and systemd. Only the much maligned systemd https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2019/01/msg01087.html has had an analysis and discussion in -systemd. Silence from the X and (in particular) the bash maintaners for 3+ years. It's hardly the bug of the century, but, for something with an easy solution, the silence is deafening. -- Brian.
