aptitude search -F '%p %V' --disable-columns firefox-esr | grep 52. returns
only one item:
firefox-esr-dev 52.9.0esr-1~deb9u1

Yet, apt claims it cannot find:
apt install firefox-esr=52.9.0esr-1~deb9u1
E: Version '52.9.0esr-1~deb9u1' for 'firefox-esr' was not found. :-(
