As for the lack of EFI boot equipment in your script, see https://wiki.debian.org/RepackBootableISO "Repacking a Debian ISO with its original boot equipment This page describes how to determine the ISO 9660 production command that was used when a Debian ISO image was packed up, and how to derive a command to replay this production." The section "Determine those options which need to be adapted on amd64 or i386" gives a script example similar to yours, but using the EFI equipment, too. Have a nice day :) Thomas
