Now, /usr/local isn't a good place for distribution files. For the Debian-distributed fvwm I'd expect things to be in /usr/share (and so on). And yes, you'll find things in /usr/share, except that config is "hidden" in a sub-directory, like so: /usr/share/fvwm/default-config/config (as I noted in my previous post, btw). Probably to avoid interfering with an already existing local config, I don't know.
