All, Need some help with my kmail client. I have just installed the debian distribution and also the exim mailer. Although exim seems to be working correctly in receiving and sending mail, Kmail seems to be acting inconsistently. I have two account on my debian box One for the root and also a user account "theo." I set up exim so that all mail coming to "root" is forwarded to the "theo" account. When I invoke kmail from root I am able to get email from my mail file /var/spool/mail/theo into the inbox at /root/mail/inbox. When I invoke kamil from my user account "theo" I cannot get the email that is piling up in /var/spool/mail/theo into the /home/theo/mail/inbox. I have configured kmail correctly to look for mail in /var/spool/mail/theo but nothing happens. Sending messages from the user account "theo" using kmail works fine, just the receiving part does not.
