I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station and would like to get a data logger for it but I'm not sure what it would take to retrieve the data with Linux. They have a USB version and a Serial version data logger available, both packaged with either Windows or Mac software.
I'd be curious if anyone on here has any recommendations for which version would be most compatible with Linux and what is needed to make it work. All I want is to be able to retrieve the data (maybe in CSV format?) so I can import to a spreadsheet. Thanks. -- Jason
