Mouse wheel adjustment

Good morning. Mouse wheel is super-sensitve, manageable but annoying. Found some info that doesn't work, so what is the best, acceptable way to adjust the mouse wheel?  Preferably a graphical interface but anything will do. thanks (again), tony
