i hope so. :) for me the conceptual trouble started ages ago when i thought that "update-grub" and os-prober would go out and find all the other little grubs and get them all in sync. my most recent round of grubismo dealing with the USB stick educated me a little about that misconception and helped me figure out the custom menu entry and chain loading. as usual, i still have much to learn... songbird
