No, no. I meant to an *inner* function, to a part of the editor itself. Introspection, so to speak. Without you having to prepare a tags file. Giving you the possibility of changing the editor itself on the spot. Even when an error occurs: the stack trace has links in it. The old dream of the Lisp Machine (which in ways *is* Emacs's godmother). Don't get me wrong, I love Vim. I use it quite a bit. I'm writing this with Vim (old habits). But Emacs is... another solar system.
